As I learn about and discuss Nostr, I feel exactly as I did on the topic of bitcoin a decade ago - mostly blank stares, confusion, and eye rolls.
The sparks of understanding and insight are addictive. I want to share it with the world, though I know from experience most will not be ready.
In Greek mythology, Cassandra was a Trojan priestess dedicated to the god Apollo and fated by him to true prophecies, but never to be believed.
We, as bitcoiners and nostriches, have the curse of Cassandra.

Most won't believe us and it can drive us mad if we let it. I'd like to believe we can always play the role of touchpoint, even if we're not the ones carrying someone across the finish line in every instance.
