I didn’t appreciate it in 2001 when my opposition to retributive violence in response to terrorist violence was dishonestly equated to allyship with the terrorists, and I don’t appreciate it anymore more now than I did then.
Wrote this last year on the anniversary of 9/11 and I’m really feeling it.
