When referring to China, don't use “Chinese”, use “mainland”/“mainlanders”. “Hong Kong” = “Hong Kongers”. “Taiwan” = “Taiwanese”.
Not all Chinese are from mainland China. Using “Chinese” to refer to the people of “China”, or their products, is very confusing.
