Bro I swear politics is sometimes more interesting than physics. On a global geopolitical scale, there is still actual conflict happening that is an actual conflict and not just some random made up bullshit to fill up the tv screens. At least I’m pretty confident about that but it’s possible that I’m completely wrong. That would indicate that the evolutionary strategy of the meta-human lifeform is still having ideological inconsistencies with other possible optimal policies. One obvious strategy would be to wipe out all diverging branches of thought, which would probably lead to an Orwellian future, but would allow the reduction of the model parameters by many orders of magnitude. However, as seen observed through the lens of quantum physics we have the position-momentum uncertainty (or tradeoff), through the lens of algorithmic design we have the time and space complexity tradeoff, and through the lens of statistical inference we have the bias-variance tradeoff. These examples are all connected by the same thread, which is the informational content within a n-dimensional volume, compared to the a measure of the flow of information at the boundary of the volume. When it comes to evolutionary strategy, you need to fit historical data (flow of information) with a model (information in volume) to learn an optimal strategy that will maximize a defined notion of reward. I think that bitcoin is not a store of value, nor a medium of exchange, nor a unit of account. Bitcoin is an algorithm that runs on entropy, and the final return value of that algorithm is a term in the reward function. This specific term is there to guide us towards a better future. It is the information flow from an unknown origin that is guiding our string of consciousness towards a more favorable state. At the end of the day, politics is just noise. It is an artifact of random initialization, that will inevitably be removed as more information is processed by the system.
