Peter Webster on Nostr: A good friend, on reading my 2017 on Walter Hussey, Anglican patron of the arts, ...
A good friend, on reading my 2017 on Walter Hussey, Anglican patron of the arts, wondered aloud "whether Hussey deserved such a fine book". I know what he was (kindly) trying to say, but life is short, and too short for writing a slightly-useful book. Does Eric Mascall really merit that kind of sustained attention? Some days I think so; on others, not so much.
