Well, I became Privacy-Woke™ in 2019, so I abandoned my sad little Nokia Android phone for an iPhone.
Of course, I wasn't going to abide Apple's mercenary silliness for long, so I looked for alternatives.
The Librem phone was way too pricey (and of course, turned out to basically be a scam), so I got a Pixel, figuring I'd find a good privacy-respecting "ROM" in time and move over.
After a little less than a year on stock Android on my Pixel 4A 5G, I tried out #CalyxOS, and it stuck.
