Opera and Netscape were founded the same year. Before 5 years had gone, Netscape had gone public and had given up the fight. That is before we got our first investor at Opera, so we had managed with the $5000 in initial investment that Geir and I made.
Why does this matter? Sometimes the fast growing companies loose flight, while the steady growth gives the better results.
