Clickbait makes risk assessments difficult. Risk assessment means two things. The actual problem and the probability of that problem being exploited. Clickbait leads to a focus on the first and a complete ignorance of the latter. So yes, you can theoretically exploit a flaw in a Yubikey. But no, in practice it needs quite some work and equipment worth around 11000€. The probability of being at risk is low. But that wouldn’t make clickbait work. Le sigh.
