Both. Both thing is a hobby can't really make a living out of it.
I am an Ecologist by degree and wanted to be really scientifical, protect and study, then realized it would be a life with much uncertainties.
All respect who do it full time, and for everyone who thinks about these ideas in their daily lives. I believe in the end what we achieve counts, and less the ideology behind, at this topic.
