Ah, okay - I noticed you talking about spammy relays a few days ago; what’s the difference between the way relays and users send spam?
From what I can understand, in both cases it would be on the user to handle i.e. disconnect from the relay (currently possible), or block the user (coming soon).
Would a user’s blocklist be transportable to another client and optionally sharable to other users?
It seems like subscribable / recommended block lists might be useful, just like you currently have Recommended Relays. I’m imagining something like Dan Pollock’s hosts file https://someonewhocares.org or community uBlock lists that are transparent and users could opt-into.
I think this is different to, but would compliment algorithmic choice.
