Even if OpenAI legitimately didn't copy Scarlett Johansson's voice, as some evidence suggests, clearly Sam Altman tried and failed to get ahead of the problem, which makes the whole thing look sketchy AF.
And it certainly doesn't get OpenAI off the hook for scraping every iota of content it can find on the Internet.
