( I really could have used this back in the ‘90s, when I was trying to convince a cranky old 300-baud HesModem into transferring files from my Commodore to the PC that I had at the time.
Alas, despite significant efforts, that didn’t work out.
Instead, I ended up returning to the project ~30 years later, with mixed results… which I’ll discuss later if there’s interest. )
