Today our old gray call ducks wanted to parade back and forth between their pond and the shade under our deck.
I explained to Summer that as much as she wanted to play with them they don't really want to play with her.
So she was stuck just watching the parade from about fifteen yards away.
If she is sitting and quiet they coexist beautifully.
It was as gorgeous as day as we get her in Redwood country.
I purposely did as little as possible. On purpose.
