Every time I hear the term "Boys being Boys" to mean "being a sex pest", I get infuriated. "Boys being Boys" should be all the best and silliest parts of boys being themselves. Having stupid contests with one another. Telling terrible puns. Having lots of energy and running around the block 10 times. Being unreasonably proud of their worst looking scraggly chin fuz.
Like there's so many cute and silly and dorky parts of being a guy which are great for boys who love being boys. The fact that got stolen to mean objectifying and harassing women pisses me off SO much.
