Every year, since before I was born, Christmas sweets are sold here in Germany at the end of August already. Without one exception every year.

Still every year I read and hear from pretty much everybody "Christmas really does start earlier every year."

No. Just no. It's always End of August. Always.

Is it ridiculously early? Absolutely. But is it earlier every year? No. Get over it.
