The bad news: I dropped my starter, the glass lid shattered and got glass all over, including IN the starter.
The good news: I had just split off starter so I could bring it to make bread for the family Christmas, so I do still have a starter. Thank goodness. It does mean any Christmas bread is going to have to be yeasted though…
