My limits are 1 cup of coffee per day most days, keeping days with more to a rare occasion - with a hard limit of 3 cups in any single day.
When I was forced to do telemarketing, it took entire POTS of coffee to mask that much and power through, and that much coffee damaged my kidneys. Thankfully, not too seriously, but I was left prone to kindey stones.
Sticking to those limits for so many years, it seems my tolerance is pretty strict now.
