It can be really amusing to see how the discourse plays out. The reaction to it especially, because it shows how poorly people reason and highlights the flaws in their perception of reality. So many people struggle to develop a basic epistemology in order to create a coherent model of the world, to the point where they can debate ideas rationally. But then you'll have a few who are much more science-minded like Dave McKeegan, and they'll make some interesting and often informative responses to it all, better than the midwit deboonking that others do. I find that stuff pretty entertaining too.
