:Cat: (npub1dkf…z4wz) Difficulty is the best the series has ever had, the fights are all really fun and (assuming you're not overleveled or cheesing it with revives) actually pretty challenging. Kieran does get cucked again, because of course he does, but his character arc is excellent and imo he went from just being a wimpy cuck to being the most interesting rival in the series, with what's undeniably the hardest fight of any rival or champion. I'd say even the hardest Cynthia rematches get blown out by him. So, difficulty and story are both great. Unfortunately there's basically only 5 real battles, the elite 4 and champion, so even though they're each pretty hard, there weren't enough of them for me. Its main story is pretty short, and its side content doesn't seem very interesting to me.
It's really not worth the price because of how short it is, and it's definitely not worth playing through all of SV just to play it. Like I said, it's basically only 5 battles, and even though they're really good battles, that is not a lot. It also doesn't fix any of SV's performance or graphical issues. It's got good gameplay and good story but everything else is basically just more of SV. The huge jump in difficulty compared to the rest of the game, and its character driven story do give me some hope for future pokemon games, though. If you've already played Teal Mask it's worth playing Indigo Disk, imo. If you haven't finished Teal Mask, it's maybe not worth it, and if you haven't already played SV it is definitely not worth it.
