I get that there are thoughtful people who feel strongly that Biden should hang in and stay on the ticket (and i lean that way myself). And there are also thoughtful people who believe he should immediately step aside. That's an important debate to have, and to resolve soon.

But I don't believe it does a service to anyone to perpetuate the frequently-repeated myth that the law prevents this now, This is simply wrong. Those who assert it are opening themselves to appearing foolish.
