3 years ago we had our bad freeze here in Houston and I took in all my potted plants, mostly bromeliads. Did no good as we lost power and everything was frozen. Except one, which survived somehow and put out two healthy pups (see photo) before she died the next winter. Now here we are again, bringing in the plants and hoping for the best.
