like yes there is a seed of truth there that some facial recog tech can still partially work (with less accuracy) with a straight-on view of the top half of your face only.
someone some people have gotten this twisted into "masks don't work at all?" as if police, prosecutors and biz groups haven't been pushing anti-mask measures since the beginning of the covid pandemic?? feels sus af if u repeat this nonsense
