It’s really interesting to look at the Supreme Court’s major decisions since Dobbs. Alito and Thomas are essentially isolated in a minority of two on the reactionary right. Gorsuch occupies the hard right where they used to be but votes with the majority half the time. Surprisingly (to me at least) Kavanaugh and Coney Barrett are not being particularly partisan (and Sotomayor and Brown Jackson are often voting with them).
This term has been far less of a disaster than I feared.
