Ok, not entirely true, you can report content and whoever is in charge of your instance gets to decide unilaterally if that is ok. If not you can move to an instance where it is ok, and then your old instance can ban your new instance. Still, I have a feeling mastodon in general is a whole lot more permissive than Facebook was and possibly will be.
