I have the same struggle. I think Michael Saylor’s view makes the most sense. If you just borrow against a small portion of your Bitcoin, you never have to pay capital gains tax. Eventually the dollar will lose more value than what you’ve borrowed or it will die completely and Bitcoin will become the new currency free of taxation.
