My husband & I are off 2 days this week, and we were too upset after Tuesday to go away. Instead, we decided to finally address our really gross-looking garage door, which we hadn’t painted in the 20+ years we’ve lived here and which was rusted and mildewed. We scrubbed, scraped, and primed. Today, we’ll paint. It looks better already. I’m going to paint the front door a beautiful dark green, too.
It feels important to me now to focus on projects that make an immediate, visible difference.
