A recruiter reached out to me about a job, saying that my "sophisticated background" was "spot-on" for a job they were looking to fill at her company.

I agreed to talk with her, and the company proceeded to hit me with a lengthy, multi-step technical assessment, after which they rejected me with a generic form letter. Didn't even hear from the recruiter personally.

Am I crazy or is that kind of a crappy way to treat a person? #jobsearch #recruiting
