I used to think car culture was a big company lobby thing however coming to the realisation it is a way to mask inequality.

I recently spent time getting around Seattle on public transport. I was physically attacked twice, seen 2/3 people that I couldn't say for sure were alive and hundreds in need of help.

I don't think a lot of people appreciate how bad it is because designing for cars means you avoid walking down the tent lined high street.
