My dad was talking to me this morning about buying a new tablet because his keeps hanging and getting stuck when he browses to the local news site.
Got him to try fire fox with unlock origin and he is ecstatic. "It's like a whole new machine" and he's now going around setting it up on all the android devices in the house.
Companies really have shot themselves in the foot with all the ads they try to shovel down people's machines. He wouldn't have cared had they kept it to a reasonable amount but instead they made a web page that can crash his tablet. Now no one gets any ad revenue from them.
