Apparently everyone is self interested in the short term goal of getting rich? What happened to “low time preference” and staying humble. Looks like everyone is throwing that out the window in favor of short term gains… sad really. Do we really care about the kids and the next generation or is that something we just tell ourselves to feel morally superior??
