People should make the *art* they want to, even popular *art* like TV soaps. If people like it, pay for it and watch it, we really can't complain. The solution is in our hands. Only the really dense or captured must think the BBC is not a propaganda outlet, so people need to decide if they want to pay for and consume propaganda.
I don't pay for it or watch it, and my life is probably happier for it.
