Yeah. The purpose of this video specifically (beyond the cheeky 'Sheep' slur of course) isn't to complain about the people who responded. There's no satire there. There's no gotcha.
The responders were completely correct to call out my bait post.
That's why my example on the Android side is shown by using a screen grab of a major android reviewer site. I'm trying to show that the criticism of Google doing the exact same thing was trumped up by folks with a much bigger publishing reach, and the apple end users and consumers came to the CORRECT conclusion.
Platforms like Threads and YouTube demand we always cater to the bias of the most profitable audiences, and it's important to show that content discrepancy and bias in "reporting".
Taking the exact same situation, but swapping "google" for "apple" should have delivered similar headlines from tech websites. It's NO mystery why that didn't happen.
