New plant day…Ludwigia with its bright red foliage add a highlight to a field of green.
Ottocinclus has devastated the back wall green algae I had hoped to propagate a bit…and doing some bonsai-like pruning of the Madagascar Lace decaying bits…in other words, they are doing their job!
Fish providing free nitrogen and phosphorus for plant consumption…as well as occasional cleanup duties.
Also, started an Infusoria jar…using filter extract and baking yeast to cultivate latent microfauna…preparing for the off chance that fry show up unexpectedly.
The milky white appearance should clear in a day or two as the wee beasts consume the yeast colony as food.
