It seems the Ocarina Zelda streamer installed some of those mods that restore cut content to a game. Always liked those, like the Fallout Restoration Project. Here it allows you to do a trick that, after some steps, clears the well in Kakariko village.
Apparently, you can get to the bottom of the well as kid Link and there seemed to be a whole area in there when the original game has water; but the streamer died in the second room and decided to leave. I saw a giant skull. And they made some epic horror music. I wonder what game they took that from. Possibly Mario 64, judging by the sound font.
Pretty crazy how they added the content but it's still impossible to find without chat help. Reminded me of Diablo II's secret cow level. Or Titan Quest's mod that added a whole horrible dungeon behind some inconspicuous trees.
