Yeah, I mean I've had chickens in the house before, and even just when they are just pullets and start putting on feathers it gets messy quick. Wouldn't want full grown birds inside for sure. On a balcony, sure, feed them some scraps, the smell stays outside, clean the cage once a week, etc...
But then again, I'd probably just never live anywhere I *couldn't* keep chickens outdoors to begin with. Problem solved. 😆
