One of the arguments about the housing crisis is that it could be immediately solved if we got all empty houses occupied... now there are some issues with this (not least of location & the legitimate reasons some homes my be temporarily empty) but that isn't t say there isn't something important in the argument...

So how does that look on the ground? here's a report from Nottingham on the everyday work of trying to get unoccupied homes back in use.
