This morning, while we were eating our breakfasts, my sweetie noticed a bird flying to the juniper tree on the corner of our lot. She asked me what it was, so I grabbed the camera with the long lens (600mm effective focal length) and snapped a photo. It’s our Northern Flicker! Usually that tree is full of finches or bluebirds, but this morning, it’s all his. #birb #photography
