I spent some of today moving a bunch of smaller #WordPress plugins directly into my theme.
Essentially, my theme is a monorepo of all the interesting functionality I want which can be solved simply.
A motley collection of hacky scripts, to be sure. But at least I can be sure a compromised developer won't blast my site with something icky.
