There's a reason the response to Tumblr maybe getting #ActivityPub support and WordPress.com getting it soon was met with near unanimous positive response, and Facebook was met with the opposite. Let's not pretend people on Mastodon and the fediverse are irrational for being suspicious of Facebook.
