Billionaire owners of newspapers now make editorial decisions and staff can’t endorse Kamala Harris for president even though that’s what they had planned to do. First Los Angeles Times owner Patrick Soon-Shiong, now Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos. Remember when the WaPo would give a disclaimer that Bezos owned the paper but that it was editorially independent? No more. It’s the final nail in the coffin of the once-great WaPo.
