Even though 2 is considered the best, I have far more nostalgia for Spider-Man 1 and 3. I owned a VHS of 1 and a DVD of 3 and I watched 3 especially a lot when I was younger.
Rewatching the first film years later has cemented what I've known for years, which is how movies do levity and humour now sucks. It's always serious scenes intercut with awkard, fourth wall breaking jokes because they're too embarrassed to take themselves seriously. It's characters having to be aware of any moment that would feel hacky and predictable only to ironically fall into that pitfall, or thinking that being aware of being hacky and predictable is subversive enough. The Raimi Spider-Man movies are absolutely perfect in their tone. Rich Evans from Redlettermedia described it best: it embodies the tone of comic books, in that it's silly but still takes itself seriously, and the humour doesn't come from awkward jokes that never ever fucking land but by its campy tone.
