I know OpenRGB works great for some people, but for me, it just hard-locks the Polychrome USB controller on my PC, and as a result, the PC itself will fail to POST on a warm boot, or even sometimes on wake from sleep. Never worked well to begin with which is why I tried the official software.
Maybe it's just me but I think if your open-source RGB software needs a specialty ring0 DLL (and maybe .ko/.o on linux), maybe it should re-evaluate communicating with things. aaa.
