My possible hot take of the day: I recently watched the Cowboy Bebop Live Action reboot on Netflix, and this was the first time I think a reboot was done well. I genuinely really liked it. I really liked the original, and to be honest, I have been really harsh on remakes.
My biggest criticism of it is I think they should have called it "Cowboy Bebop: the Remix" to keep in the music style, and to let audience members know it isn't a 1:1 remake.
