Did you not notice all the info in the OP? If atm you're on a Masto instance with only the lousy 500, you DO have options... albeit they need some actual effort by you:\n\nchange to another Masto instance with more than 500 [there's many, eg, 3 i have are 3000, 10,000 \u0026 11,000 respectfully... but there's many others too]\nchange from Masto to alternatives like #Friendica [from which i write this post], #Hubzilla [both having essentially no limit], or one of the #Misskey / #Calckey instances or forks [2000+, iirc].\n\nTL;DR = if you don't like where you currently are, move, don't just moan.",
