There is a fundamental conclusion to be drawn from any attempts at arguments with the left on the way society functions and the way it should function. And the conclusion is that the argument can never be intelligible for one main reason. They simply do not have any understanding whatsoever of Money and Economics. That is to say that they do not have any understanding of human action as it pertains to the use of scarce resources for purposeful ends with scarce human time. And all political science is based upon this foundationally.
These are the important points that lead almost everything they assert to be incoherent unless by chance essentially.
They do not understand the purpose of Money and how it functions in society. They do not understand what debt means whatsoever. They do not understand what 36 trillion of debt means. They do not understand what 80 trillion in unfunded promised money means. They do not know that their taxes are not what funds the government and its "charitable" spending, that debt is what funds this which is ultimately money creation from nothing. They do not understand that in a debt based system, all this astronomical amount of debt is REAL productivity that has been pulled forward from the future and ABSOULTELY WILL be paid back in real productivity and there isn't a genie that exists that could make this basic economic law not so. And therefore, fundamentally they simply do not understand that everything they want is literally not economically possible.
They believe that theft and coercion can be allowed within the interaction of humans in society so long as it is for "the(ir) greater good". They do not understand that this entails giving an entity ultimate power of theft and coercion over all others and being that "the greater good" can never be defined, and even if it could come close, so that this entity with a monopoly on exploitation over all the rest of society will suck it dry of its productivity and enrich itself and those closest to its affiliation over and over and over again at the expense of all else. And they will deny the blatant and objective reality of this happening all the way to the end.
To be fair, the right doesn't understand these things most fundamentally either. But a decent amount of the right at least understands the very basic facts about how the world works to be able to at least have an intelligible argument with.
