Bill Browder presentation to the #UN: Putin and his cronies have stolen $1 trillion from the Russian state. Money that should have been spent on hospitals and schools was spent on yachts and private jets. The Russian people were growing restless and angry so to avoid that anger, he created a foreign enemy and started a war. The war in #Ukraine isn’t about #NATO enlargement or some warped vision of the Russian empire. It’s about a small man who stole too much money and is desperately trying to stay in power.
