I really dig the Criterion Channel livestream. It sort of recreates the experience of discovering a film by ‘flipping around.’ And I like the fact that when you click on the livestream, it doesn’t tell you what’s playing—if you want to find out, you have to go to ‘whatsonnow’ at the web site.
So yadda yadda yadda, now we’re watching Lola Montès (1955) and it’s pretty wild for a costume drama!
