I think as the roasts get darker, the oils just starts to extract out of the bean naturally. That’s why all the lighter roasts don’t seem as oily. I haven’t had trouble finding whole bean medium roast coffee. Even just the grocery store brand organic has been a good economical option. (One that lets you enjoy your daily coffee with enough left over to stack some sats.)
