Under "finding commits..." it should find the 1 event, the patch responding to the covering letter, but each relay is returning 0 events.
I can reproduce this but just for this repository. ngit has a proposal 'Initial clone subcommand', which has a covering letter and one patch and it works fine.
I thought maybe it was the relay implementation so I forced it to use the fallback relays but to also got 0 events back from them.
I logged the query it is sending and it's:

when I use https://inspector.nostr.com/ to send this query to these relays, it returns the correct patch event.
