If you're running an open source project (or any software for that matter), PLEASE don't delete documentation for 'old' versions or removed / deprecated functionality.
Not supporting old versions is fine, but removing the documentation makes it much harder for people to upgrade.
PHP is particularly bad for this - functions like ereg_replace have gone from the manual. Thankfully some sites still have archived copies.
